Today we met to discuss what we as a group were going to do for the Stronger Communities project. We had a number of ideas that we were bouncing back and forth but finally decided the most useful project for Stronger Communities would be to help them gain new volunteers and increase participation from the community. We decided to target area PTA programs and high schools, especially student councils. Our goal is to educate these programs on the Stronger Communities initiative and to get them involved in the program.

We are hosting a back to school block party at a local elementary school. During this event, we will promote parental involvement in the school. We would like to promote Strong Communities. In order to do this we would to pass out the flyers that your group is creating. Would that be okay with your group?
